Leah Christensen
Associate Attorney
Leah Christensen is a University of Iowa College of Law graduate who is
admitted to practice in California, Wisconsin, and Iowa. She earned her
bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, where she studied
East Asian languages with a focus on Chinese.
Ms. Christensen's professional experience has consisted of work in
the courtroom and the classroom. She was a judicial clerk in the Wisconsin
Supreme Court before working in a Madison, WI law office, and then served
as legal counsel for the Madison Metropolitan School District. Then, she
began her career as a legal professor and taught at the University of
St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, the Thomas Jefferson School of
Law in San Diego, and University of San Diego Law School. Before joining
the McCune Wright Arevalo, LLP team, Ms. Christensen worked for a multinational
law firm in San Diego.
She also has a successful career as a writer. She was the assistant editor
of the Iowa Law Review during her time in law school, and since then,
has written various legal education books for students.
